0 Question: WHY THE SUN IS BRIGHTER THAN THE OTHER STARS Keywords: star, sun Asked by aacb294 to Susan, Steven, Rose, Rita, Alex on 23 Jan 2017.
Alex Hinga answered on 23 Jan 2017:
@aacb294 The sun is brighter because it is closer to earth than the other stars. For a star to be called a sun, it must have planets orbiting around it. Therefore, all suns are stars but not all stars are suns.
