Yes, gas can change into a solid under certain conditions. This can include an intermediate state where the gas first changes into a liquid. In a less common process called deposition, gas changes directly into a solid. For instance, in extremely cold temperatures, water vapour in the air that comes into contact with a window may form ice without forming a liquid first.
