Yes they do, This because Photosynthesis is the process all plant regardless of their colour use sunlight to produce glucose from carbon dioxide and water

Plants use chlorophyll to adsorb the sunlight and chlorophyll is a green coloring matter o how come plants of different colors carry out photosynthesis?

Yes they do. The purple colour just means the plant produces more “anthocyanin” than normal plants so you see it to appear purple. Such plants still have chlorophyll for photosynthesis. Anthocyanin is very useful in protecting the plant from excess light and is also common but in lower amounts in green plants.
